White Hart, Silver Field

I am...so happy with how this came out. I really haven't been this happy with my art for a very long time. I am very glad that I attempted a background; it was good practice. Needed something to pimp out my portfolio when I visit CCAD, anyway. :B

This was very heavily inspired by my trip to Austria and Germany. It's so surreal, seing these massive alps rising into the clouds and castles perched among them (this is coming from someone in flat ol' Missouri, however. Hehe)! The castle is vaguely based on Neuschwanstein, because it was PRETTY.

On the other hand, I have no idea what Mr. White Deer is doing, leading his girls and children toward human settlement. Silly. I guess he thinks the grass looks nice?

MEDIA: Watercolor, colored pencil (Prismacolor Verithin), and white gel pen on 14x10 inch cold-press watercolor paper.
